There's been an outbreak of anti-Semitic attacks in New York over the past few days. As of this morning the total was up to 9 -

According to CBS New York, a man entered Rabbi Rottenburg’s Shul and stabbed three people during a Hanukkah celebration.
The man reportedly pulled out a machete to attack the victims, before running out and escaping in a vehicle.
First responders are on the scene and are treating the victims. The extent of the injuries is not known at this time. ...'
