Journal 2024-08-05 Monday afternoon.
I haven't been watching the Olympics closely. But it's safe to say that I will never hear the words "pole vault" in quite the same way again.
It was a busy Monday at the IT shop. We had a rash of blue-screen errors this morning, probably resulting from some bad software update somewhere. By late afternoon things were looking to have pretty much settled down.
Weather is sunny and warm, and the forecast is calling for another week of nice weather; I might work in a walk-to-work or two this week. I did my 15 minutes run this morning and felt great all day.
