Just discovered the Harvest Grocery down the street sells Indian ready-to-eat meals. They're like MREs with Indian food. Can't wait to try 'em out tomorrow!

Beyond TQC

It's been almost two years since I started writing "The Queen's Courtesan".

I'm happy to say that I remain very much involved in the story and am committed to finishing it, no matter how long it takes - in fact, I've got a longish chapter in the works right now.

But the writing is going very slowly, and the story has turned out to be much, much longer than what I originally envisioned. It is difficult to hold a reader's attention in such circumstances.

But I now have a much clearer picture of the Gilkesh universe than I did when I started, which means that I think it's time to branch out and start exploring other storylines. So I'm going to start working on some new material - new stories, set on different worlds and in different times, and maybe a reference webpage.

So, stay tuned.
