I am officially adding myself to the list of anti-daylight-saving-time wingnuts.
Here's one more peeve to add to the list of grievances against DST in the US:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time_around_the_world#In_2008
'In 2008, daylight saving time in the United States began on Sunday, March 9, 2008, and will end on November 2, 2008.'
Now, stay with me here. From March 9 to November 2, that's almost eight months. That means we're on "Standard Time" for less than half the year. SO WHAT THE FUCK DO WE CALL IT STANDARD TIME FOR?
Grrrrrr.

I'm seriously considering moving to UTC (or GMT for us old farts) as a protest.
