LJ / DW questions

Is there a way to automatically cross-post *from* LiveJournal *to* DreamWidth? I keep a journal on DW - mostly as a backup for when the Russian robots are wreaking havoc on the intertubes - but I tend to forget it's there. I still think of LJ as my "main" online journal but I don't want to let my DW page lie fallow.

Also, DW users - is there some kind of new-users or friend-finder group on DW?
