Week in review.
2021-07-31 22:00SOCIETY. Sunday was my day to volunteer at the Republican Party booth at the Washington County Fair. It was a tremendous experience, and we got a very positive response (especially on the issues of immigration and ballot integrity). I went home and made a point of getting plenty of rest, because I had a busy week scheduled.
FRIENDS. Both Monday and Tuesday nights I had dinner with friends.
CONGREGATION. The dinner for the departing rabbi was beautiful. It gave me a chance to re-connect with people in the community, and also to re-acquaint myself with the location of the Jewish school. I'm planning to look for ways to get more involved, in terms of classes, volunteering, and so on.
REFLECTION. I realized I need to budget some time for my solitary pursuits - reading, study, and writing - so that I do not neglect these.
