Follow-up: the Wikipedia article on Gateway Pundit describes it as known for publishing falsehoods, hoaxes, and conspiracy theories, and follows that description with multiple examples.
I do not believe that Wikipedia is always perfectly reliable, nor that everything published by Gateway Pundit need necessarily be false, but I do recommend treating this story, and any other story from Gateway Pundit with extreme skepticism.
