Ten days since I posted last, and Thanksgiving is arriving. Which means it's now four years since we said goodbye to Bunny's Mom.

This afternoon, after work, I made a visit to downtown Portland, to see the new Chabad Jewish center that's due to open next week in the Pearl District. Rabbi M. greeted me warmly when I entered the gift shop.

I'm off from work for the holiday weekend, of course, but I'll be busy helping the local election integrity team review ballots in this County.

For inspiration, I'm listening to Rabbi Meir Soloveichik's podcast on the Thanksgiving holiday and its passionate advocate, Sarah Josepha Hale.
