asher553Just a Saturday night post to say I'm still breathing. Went to the Basic Rights Oregon event marking the second anniversary of our ultimately unsuccessful attempt to defeat Measure 36. Mayor Tom Potter was there, along with Commissioner Sam Adams, Senator Kate Brown and Representative Jeff Merkley. I signed up for phone banking and (tentatively) for canvassing, in the hopes of helping to defeat our old pal Karen Minnis in the next election.
Off to bed. If I complete one lesson a day, I can finish the Ultimate Arabic course by the end of the week. I'm also studying verb patterns from a grammar reference book, just for fun.
