The doctors basically fell all over themselves, she tells me, when she checked in at the ER. They rushed her up to OB, stuck a fetal monitor and a bunch of electrodes on her, took body fluid samples, the works. And they gave her an antibiotic that's safe for the baby. She's resting up, and we're gonna talk after 8pm (when the call is free).

So, a big WHEW and a big yay for good medical care.
