I've been in town a week now; cleared out my Portland apartment last Thursday morning and arrived - to stay, this time - in mid-afternoon. Promised myself I'd get started on looking for work as soon as I got in, and I did exactly that: within 24 hours of landing, I'd set up an interview appointment with one temp agency and sent my resume to two more. As of yesterday afternoon - exactly a week after arriving - I'm now fully registered and ready to work with one agency, and got most of the red tape out of the way with the other two.

Also got to spend some great quality time with G and TNG.
