The neighboring apartment complex likes to irrigate its grounds with sprinklers that water not only the grass but also a good stretch of the sidewalk. That's one thing in the summertime, but when it's 48 Fahrenheit and been raining all day, it's a bit much.

Anyway, I made it through my homebound commute without getting sprinkled on by natural or artificial means. Relaxed after work with a sinfully indulgent Starbucks frappuccino.

Haven't heard back yet from Simply Mac; I'll probably give 'em a call tomorrow morning for a status update. For tonight: vacuum the carpet, sort papers, polish shoes, read a little Genesis, work some math, get to bed early.

There is a tree near where I work that has moss on the north side. That's because that's where the sprinklers hit it.
