asher553The roommate's kids have been here for the weekend, and I got to spend some time playing with them yesterday and (for a few minutes) today. Board games, chess, and one-on-one soccer. They are delightful and adorable.
I spent two hours this morning with a deeply furrowed brow pondering my creative writing projects. I've written a few stories over the years that I consider successes, and I spent some time thinking about what made them work, and what approaches I might use in future projects. Almost nothing actually got written. But I'm still counting that as progress.
