asher553One roommate came and went in the space of less than a month; last week I connected with a new person who seems very promising and who I hope will be a good fit.
I didn't do anything special for the New Year holiday except to enjoy the day off from work Friday (and meet the new prospective roommate), and to take today as a day to do strictly and absolutely nothing.
Inspired by the urging of Deepseasiren, I've finally picked up the knitting needles and yarn again, and knitted a few rows of knit-one-purl-one ribbing to get back in practice. Going to get the sketchbook out tomorrow.
The last two years have been challenging for me, as they have for everybody, but I'm cautiously optmistic that the coming year will be better. I'm looking forward to exciting new developments in the social world.
