Then we found it. Me and Ricky were the first people to see it - nine thousand in cash. I figured I could use some of it to help my grandmother out. There it was, in a clear plastic bag, on the bank of the creek. Ricky let out a whoop, and I just gasped. We ran across the woods back to the camp in a streak. Ricky was taking a dip in the creek and he didn't even bother to put his clothes back on, so he was literally streaking. He'd a run clear into town that way, if he coulda kept up the pace.
