Last night I went to a meeting of the Party chapter to review our bylaws. Boring, but the boring stuff is important too. It was at the home of a member who lives out in the 'burbs, which meant walking back to my car in the dark with sparse street lighting. I thought I would feel silly carrying a flashlight, but as it turned out I felt even sillier falling on my ass in the ditch, so there's a lesson learned.
Anyway, that's three political events in as many days, so I have well and truly done my civic duty for the week. The bylaws meeting was boring as expected, but the seating was comfortable and spacious (outdoors on the back patio) and the company was good.
Yom Kippur starts tonight, so I'll need to make sure I eat and hydrate properly today. [143]
