Getting my Spanish up to Speed

Discovery: It's easy to laugh at the gringa on the commercials saying "Es un pley-cer ... " but it's hard to break the habit of anglicizing the vowels in Spanish words that have English cognates. My mouth keeps wanting to say "mi di-cision es firme" (Ultimate course, dialog 4), and I have to slow down and sound it out syllable by syllable.
